BSNL Is Offering Rs 399 Plan At Rs 100 Only For New Customers, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited is an Indian state-owned telecommunications company, BSNL in partnership with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited(HPCL) launched a new offer dubbed as “BSNL Mega Offer” in which the Government owned telecom operator is offering its STV Rs 399 prepaid recharge plan at just Rs 100. This new offer will come in the form of a coupon issued to these LPG users, and they can then redeem the coupon for a new free BSNL SIM, and pay Rs. 100 for availing the STV 399 benefits. However, this BSNL Mega Offer is only valid for new customers and customers who transfer to the network via Mobile Number Portability (MNP).

BSNL Mega Offer Details and Benefits –

Moving onto the details of BSNL mega offer, this offer can be availed by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) customers only, and these customers will find a coupon printed on their LPG bills, and this coupon will enable them to avail STV 399 benefits for Rs. 100. Additionally, this coupon will be made available in seven states only – Uttar Pradesh (East & West), Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir. Furthermore, All the eligible customers can then avail a free BSNL SIM from the partnered outlets, and have to pay Rs. 100 for the STV 399. 

According to the report, “Anupam Shrivastava, CMD BSNL, said that the Mega Offer is a ‘truly unlimited welcome gift to new and MNP prepaid customers’, wherein they effectively pay just Rs. 1.35 per day for the first 74 days of their switching to BSNL”.

More Details –

This Rs 399 prepaid recharge plan launched as ‘Holi Dhamaka‘ plan, starting August 26. It comes with a validity of 74 days, BSNL customers can make unlimited voice calls and send unlimited SMS messages for the 74-day validity period. The plan also comes with free Personalised Ring Back Tone (PRBT) with unlimited song change option. Notably, the new offer will be applicable during national roaming as well, including Delhi and Mumbai circles.

Having said that, with this prepaid recharge plan BSNL is taking on Jio prepaid recharge

plans, Jio has a few plans that offer 4G data for similar validity periods. It has a Rs. 349 plan that offers unlimited calls, SMS messages, 1.5GB of daily data, and complimentary Jio apps subscription for 70 days. Similarly, a Rs. 398 plan from Jio offers the same benefits but with 2GB of data per day for 70 days. Also, a Rs. 399 plan provides 1.5GB of data per day and a plan worth Rs. 448 offers 2GB daily data, alongside the other benefits, for a validity period of 84 days. After the launch of this prepaid recharge plan  BSNL revised this plan two times.
